Conservatives regard any statement told by another Conservative as dogma and gospel. No matter how illogical, no matter how far it deviates from reality, no matter how demonstrably wrong it is, their minds can, will and do wrap themselves around the lie the way a pretzel turns around on itself. It is probably a hangover from their Calvinist fundamental Christian Old Testament brethren.
The thread concerns demonstrable lies by the Republican candidates. Not to worry. Conservatives endorse dishonesty. Accommodate it easily. Hell, just witness the acceptance of Bush & Co.'s lies. And what you did here. Sterling example of Conservative Character.
Conservatives believe "character counts", bad character counts for more.
