Who runs this blog?
There is absolutely no identifying information that I can find on it at all.
Qualifications? Accountability? There is none.
Find me a masthead listing the name of the admin, or if it's an organization, the members of its board.
The "about" feature is supposed to provide information about the source, like names and contact information. This is what it says, in total:
The purpose of this site is to provide you with unfiltered news about Obama. This site is an alternative view to the mainstream media news coverage about Obama. Everyone is allowed to submit content. The news will be posted after it is authenticated by the site admin [sic]
This says nothing to support the truthfulness or reliability of anything posted on this blog.
It doesn't say where this so-called "unfiltered" news comes from, except the interesting qualifier "everyone". It states that the site admin will "authenticate" the news. What does that mean? Confirm that someone wrote it somewhere else on the web, or confirm that it's accurate? Where are the original sources for this "news" that "everyone" is allowed to report? (Only a fraction are cited.) Who is this admin person?
One even subscribes blindly. Usually, to subscribe, one sees a popup window with an address inserted. This one expects me to subscribe by providing my email address without the necessary quid-pro-quo of providing me with the address I'm sending my address to.
Citing a source like this would get my daughter an F in her AP History course. Please find material posted by someone who will stand behind it by signing it.
