It's the difference between "some" and "all".
Obviously some Democrats are super-screwed-up.
And, just as obvious, Conservatives have to lie to stay conservative. They say Bush didn't lie, that the war was over WMDs, etc. and so on. One can't be intellectually honest and believe the Conservative agenda. How many of them say the US doesn't torture terrorist suspects? Say Bush isn't lying when he says the US doesn't torture? And with no embarrassment agree the US waterboards people?
Think about this: It ain't honest to change the meaning of words in order to win an argument. But that's exactly what they do.
And one can be intellectually honest and believe the Democratic agenda.
That, I believe, is the difference.
