This is a list of commonly banned or challenged books, some of which weren't even in print when Palin was mayor of Wasilla. It was copied and pasted somewhere in a discussion thread about the Palin incident, and has since become a fake fact. I first encountered it on an ALA webpage, where it was thoroughly debunked.
The list itself is real enough. No fake books are on it, and each one has been challenged or banned somewhere at some time. It's by no means a comprehensive list, either. (I know the teacher involved in one parents' group's attempt to ban My Brother Sam Is Dead.)
AFAIK, Palin didn't get past investigating how much opposition she would face if she tried to ban some books. If she ever presented a list, it never made it into the public record.
