Can you see what I'm driving at? Does "effete" come into this anywhere? Or is this about control and power, and those who believe they have a right to it? Does the concept of "freedom" come into the discussion anywhere? How about "coercion?"
You also didn't want to go within a mile of the idea that the promoters of our mixed economy might have something to do with its current situation. Didn't want to look at the information, the links, the people who were running these organizations.
