What on earth makes you think that
A) They don't know this already? Lord knows it's been in enough places, including mainstream media sources
B) That the facts mean one damn thing around here?
The extent of political principle for most people is a rough equivalent of "Four legs good, two legs bad." If it's from our side, it's gold. If it's from their side, it's crap. This is actually as far as the analysis goes (can apply to both sides, unfortunately).
With reason out the window, concepts like hypocrisy, inconsistency, and even irony fall on deaf ears. You can point out the most grotesque contradictions in their viewpoints, and the response is not argument, but simple dismissal, or even honest incomprehension.
The information you are showing is not actually being processed. It tells them something that doesn't fit the worldview, so it's "non-information."
You can toss stuff in for fun--pretty much all I'm doing now--but you aren't going to change any minds with something as basic as data.
Take it from "Chart Boy."
