Non-sequiteur...
An infinite universe has no need of gods to create it. Statistically any science which proves the universe is "infinite" will theologically threaten 95% of the world's 7 billion inhabitants.
Honestly, not quite sure what this has to do with anything. There is no logical tie between a finite (or an infinite) universe and whether or not one or more gods created it. If one or more gods are all-powerful, it stands to reason that they could create either an infinite or a finite universe (at their discretion).
Aside from which, arguments devolving into religion generally tend to devolve further into flame wars, since everyone's got an opinion and they're often quite incompatible, one with the next. Anyway, let's not bring religion (or lack thereof) into it... It just never ends well.
