Only those with the rosiest glasses will conclude that he can't both participate in the financial stuff, for whatever he's worth, and depate Obama on what McCain thinks is his strong suit - foreign policy.
Both McCain and Palin are now dodging opportunities to be extemporaneous, leaving it to the lobbyists to craft what they say. Clearly actors being maneuvered behind the scenes by others, only True Believers and other ignorant folks will fall for this gimmick.
