When you tax the hell out of the upper class to create a middle class?

Will the IRS pick the poor people they want to "elevate" to middle class with a yearly handout check?

That's the problem with the tax the poor into prosperity schemes - they are BS from start to finish.

Taxing the rich only enriches the politicians. The people get squat. And socialism and the sustained handout doesn't create a middle class - it creates a lower class with a paycheck to buy booze and drugs.

As soon as the rich run out of wealth to sustain millions of unearned gifts of tens of thousands of dollars per year to the poor? What then?

We already are supporting the dirt poor - in Mexico. Look at what that support has cost our economy.

Let's not make it worse with senseless platitudes about taxing the rich to create a middle class. Prosperity doesn't work that way.
