Phil Gramm is out of office. Christopher Dodd is running the Banking Committee. It was Dodd who was instrumental in killing the regulation legislation in committee. It never got to a vote.

Barney Frank is strutting next to Pelosi as I write this.

I agree Gramm shares some blame as well. I've seen the Gramm-Leach-Bliley history too, and it should have been included in the video in my opinion.

You remember Jim Leach. Gave a big nominating speech for Obama at the Democratic convention?

Any honest person would call this a bipartisan problem. That's not what we're hearing from Obama, and not what we're hearing from the Democratic leaders in Congress.

What would we be hearing on this board if a Republican speaker had called the opposition "unpatriotic?"
