Has anyone (you) ever been able to connect the causal dots between people making a point of being loud and outspoken about the dangers of a police state, and who "spit on the leadership, mock them, call them names"...and the absence, so far, of a police state?

Do you really believe that if we were to just shut up and start tugging our forelocks at Authority, we would somehow be less at risk that Authority would try to install a police state?

Or is it simple common sense to make a point of being loud and outspoken about the dangers of a police state to let Authority know that we haven't fallen asleep at the switch, like you complacent authoritarian conservatives?

Use a little common sense, TB. You should be thanking the ACLU for holding the police state at bay all these years.
