I would not want a communist or socialist dictatorship any more than I
would want to be ruled by corporations - but then again, isn't that kind
of what is happening already in regards to the latter?

I posted the case of what almost went down in the Depression mainly
because it really happened and the news was just plain shocking to me,
not because the overthrow attempt was coordinated by a bunch of
guys running major corporations. I would have had the same reaction
and done the same thing if the coup were run by communists.

Please do not put me in either the socialist or communist camps. Such
ideologies will never work with such an imperfect species as humanity.
That much history I do know.
