Less is More

I pays to have connections. I'm usually not at a loss for words, and have more pictures, honestly, than I can manage/keep track of these days. That Hale-Bopp pic, for instance, has not been digitized, and I entered an old print that had been knocked around a bit just as an afterthought in a photo contest at a local Nature Center. The horizon line was tilted, my t-square is trashed, and I had to run all over town on Sunday looking for mat board, foam board or any kind of mounting surface. As it was, I had to make several cuts to get it all squared up using just a straight edge and triangle, so you can imagine my surprise...but I digress into bragging again.

Well $20 is $20, and who hasn't sold a piece of his soul for a fast buck? I guess that makes you a sub-contractor. Notice how many visuals run with no credit to the artist and/or photographer. Such is our lot.

Thanks for the interest, encouragement, suggestions, and your own personal tale. I'll leave you with that brilliant but oh so true remark. I would have written a shorter letter, but I didn't have the time.

Ain't it the truth; sometimes Less is indeed More.
