I doubt it's that black and white
The anger is real and lethal for Cuban families that left the repression and it will take generations for people to move on from emotion to logic. It's much like the racial issue. To many of us it felt as if we were far beyond that and yet this election has shown just how prevalent it remained.
Humans are programmed to use emotion first. It requires real work to get past that.
