In my stereotypical view, there exists some distinctions between "Joe" and a redneck.

Specifically- he's not necessarily a racist but I see how you got there:

"All Republicans are racists"

"I think Joe is a Republican"

"Therefore Joe is a racist"

This has dragged on long enough, I'll quit if you will.
