I agree completely Tom...but I am a raging heterosexual. Libertarian. Ornery. If my 37 year marriage ever goes south again...or my husband dies before me...I will NEVER get married again....AMEN! So needless to say I don't *really* understand my girls needing that piece of paper.
All I know is that this is VERY important to them. That is good enough for me.
