It's biological & cultural impairment.

Two people can be handed the exact same books in the exact same classes and the same amount of money can be spent upon them by the state and one will be rebellious, a troublemaker and grow up to complain and the other will be obedient, well behaved & produce.

As the years pass the pattern will be cemented in and the producer will vote anti-handout, smaller government and the complainer will vote handout and larger government.

The IQ disparity will be brushed under the rug by a system that grows larger feeding on the less intelligent and eventually it will be repeated that the smart ones somehow had unfair advantages and should be taxed more to help their complaining, less intelligent brethren.

By the time one is 25 one can see that many really don't have the capacity to grok it.

It's not a matter of presenting the concepts in the "right" way or repeating them incessantly. It's just not going to happen. The mental barriers exist both culturally and synaptically. If the synaptic pathways for certain types of thinking arent formed - it's just not going to happen and the only thing you generate is irritation.

That predilection for irritation can be seen all over the world today and throughout history. The 3rd world is a petrie dish for such mentalities and various nations illustrate the rejection of facts for emotion.

They substitute emotion for reason.

It feels good to blame the rich for the poor's predicaments.
It feels good to accuse them of the worst malevolent intentions.
It feels good to shut your brain down and simmer in a pool of hate.

Yes, I'm an elitist. And I'm not afraid to embrace the term because it merely conceals another truth. Everyone with enough knowledge can't help but acknowledge the proven disparities of human development & potential and draw distinctions between the behavior and attitudes of these groups in human history.

There are various strata in human development and the intelligent minds seek to expand the highest strata - while the lesser minds seek to inflate their own ranks for numbers as they begin their looting sprees and use sheer numbers to produce the results their minds can not.

History is a canvas where the blood of the intelligent regularly is trampled by the hordes of the less intelligent and yet it's color, even when spilled, is so vivid it still is the only lasting remnant of various time periods and marks the canvas indelibly.
