While its true that the Republican party did not adhere to their claimed principles- they have not at any time adhered to those principles in close to 30 years, if not longer, when in power. What happened to Government Spending and the Budget under Reagan? Bush I? Bush II? The Republican dominance of congress?

The Republican party is a Marketing Program to, essentially, get people to vote for them against their own economic best interests. It serves predominantly Oligarchic generational wealth, and the very captains of industry who are leaving America in droves.

And it doesn't even have to pay people like you to sell their agenda. You'll spend days, months of your life in front of computer terminals pounding out obtuse rube-goldberg justifications for every bad decision they make, and excuse any and every failure to live by the prnciples they have sold you on. Just so you won't ever have to admit that you're wrong...

Besides, no matter how seven-shades-of-shit bad it gets, it would always be worse if the other guy had won. An impossible argument to prove, true, but equally possible to disprove- no matter how history works out.

But the fact is, this country prospers internationally and economically under Democrats- it has since the great depression. The world does not end when they come to power- point of fact it thrives.

Now, please- I need a laugh on this dire afternoon with the market and unemployment polls coming out. Tell me, TB, how I am a Useful Idiot, and pound out another set of clothes for your naked emperors.
