Fords reliability across its fleet now rivals Toyota. They have a growing stable of Hybrid, LNG and Hybrid cars. Even their honkin' V8 Mustang gets mileage not much different than Audis, BMWs and Saabs with comparable horse power, and unlike GM and Chrysler they can make an interior that is comfortable, silent and won't fall apart in 3 years.

Now, it could be that I'm third generation Ford man. It could be that Fords in my family have been known to see 200,000 miles and are usually still running before they are sold off.

Or you might want to think twice before you lump ford in with GM and Chrysler. And also, Diamler had a lot to do with the train wreck Chrysler became. GM? Well, they are just a bunch of idiots still trying to blame Unions and CAFE standards for 30 years of textbook 'how not to manage a major company' decisions.

If you listen carefully, Fords doing the least complaining about CAFE standards and Unions, and looks the healthiest of all of 'em.
