If one judges Conservatives by their actions and not the words, the way the rest of the world is judged, their love of huge government is apparent. Their intrusion into the privacy of the population and their negation of civil rights are examples of how individual rights are limited by governmental intrusions.
Conservatives are the party of big government, huge deficits, and gradual destruction of Constitutional rights. They hope their mantra of small government and limited governmental involvement in society will sell in spite of harsh reality.
