First, the settlements are scattered throughout the West Bank and are not being abandoned.
Second, there should be mosques in Israel. Palestinians who lived there were to be granted full Israeli citizenship when the nation was created. As it is they are treated like dogs, without the rights granted Jews, but many still live there.
It's a bit as if the UN gave California to the Muslims. You would still live there.

And not only are the Israelis stealing the land but they are, in full view of the world and with US assistance, slaughtering a helpless people because compassionate conservatives sort of like the spectacle. Kind of like a Charlton Heston movie.
