I believe there were quite a few senatorial elections which favored Conservatives, every one with a gracious concession by the Democratic candidate.
I would like to congratulate TB and the other conservatives for accepting this loss with such grace, without whining, complaining or accusing the Ds of unfair practices.
I believe tensions can run high in a close race, and yet the Rs have conducted themselves with restraint, acknowledging the will of the electorate after a fair recount. Coleman supporters have not stormed the recount locations in an attempt to thwart the will of the people and intimidate the folks doing the recounting. Nope, they acknowledge that Franken he got the most votes, which is the heart and soul of the American democracy Conservatives are so eager to export.
It will be nice to see Senator Franken.
Oh, oh. I just noticed, Coleman, the ethically challenged Conservative candidate, is throwing the election into the courts. Ignoring the will of the people. Praying for a court which will decide along party lines, regardless of the vote. Well, you can be sure Conservatives across the country will protest Coleman's subversion of the process. Their outrage will make Katrina look like a backyard dust devil. Because Conservatives value democracy before either power or their own personal enrichment.
Sad. And those Rs were doing so very well.
