Spiders in your Observatory
Someone here said they had no problems with using spray foam to seal the pier.
I used it and do get vibrations if I stomp on the floor and a few from just walking around. I think I'll try your rubber seal around the base and maybe some hardware cloth underneath between the framing and the pier.
Anyone use something else?
