Depends on where they are.
My office is in the garage, and the spider breed of choice out here is a long-legged beastie that webs everything up like the Addams Family house and craps on books and things to boot. A spider in here is a dead spider.
In the house, it's mostly "hunting" spiders who don't make webs, and not many of them. I have a little gadget (an older version of one of these) that lets me grab them and toss them outside into the rosebushes.
Spiders outdoors are cool with me, especially the big "Charlotte-type" orb-web guys. Sometimes I even feed these crickets from the stash I keep for the fire-bellied toad.
