I would bet you've been bitten by a brown recluse, maybe more times than once and found a way of taking care of the problem with natural means. Good for you. If left untreated, Brown Recluse bites become horribly infected and the area where the bite was, will have a section of dead muscle which will leave a hole.
If you killed one Brown Recluse, there are more.
Perfume is a bad thing. It attracts insects of all kinds including mosquitoes. I haven't worn any for years and it's been years since I've had a mosquito bite.
