Prince Phillip actually had an aide write well known UK/US crop circle researcher Colin Andrews and express his interest in the crop circles. Some of these circles actually appeared on secure royal grounds, along with appearances in private areas of the British security agencies. The Queen put Colin Andrews book "Circular Evidence" on her summer reading list. The Prince even suscribed to Colin's bi-monthly newsletter for nearly a decade.
Recently Colin has published some letters along with proof that he worked with the royals, the army, the police, the MOD, Dept of Agriculture, Nick Pope, etc... who have been denying any involvement at all. Colin's letters and information are available at the end of this link. He was recenly asked to remove the letters from Buckingham Palace (the gag factor at play here), and he has refused.
Instead he went public....very <public.>
