Ma Bowser had just gone to work at a major university as a professor. We moved to that town into a little place near the outskirts. I was 15 years old, a junior in high school and a fairly active little guy.
One of the local radio stations had it's transmitting tower near a "highway". I drove past it regularly, about as often as I stole my mother's car. One night some college students cut it down as a prank.
There it was, laying on the ground. They had cut one of the 4 guy wires and it didn't fall. So they cut another one and over it went.
I was truly impressed. I wished I'd thought of it. I'm not sure I wouldn't have done it, to be honest. As it was they never did catch the people, even though the FBI got involved because of the station having a federal license or whatever.
I feel the same way about crop circles.
