Assume there are aliens. Assume they found Earth, and assume they decided to communicate with life on Earth. Crop circles? Crop circles without a message? Crop circles being the only way they have of communicating, stalks of grain being the only material they can manipulate.
That one is a bit too far-fetched for me. I mean, I'm thinking that if all I could do is stomp down grass stalks your basic self-respecting alien wouldn't think too much of me, either. And if I meant to say, "Hi, alien, wassup?!" and stomped down a bunch of circles instead of a "w", "a", "s", "s", "u" and "p" they might think I was worth avoiding. Certainly not worth wasting an anal probe on.
I'm sorry. Even if it is aliens doing that, they are poor excuses for aliens, something of a discredit to other aliens and probably best left alone. I want an alien which is smarter than I, one who has better games, a faster vehicle, that sort of thing.
Sorry.

I'm sorry Lindy, but if crop circles are the best they can do I'm better off without 'em.
