Funny I was watching Stephanoplis' show this morning
Lindsay Graham, (Yeah the GOP Congressman) while reaming Dems on the spending, said he thought bank nationalization should be on the table. THAT is how bad the situation is. Are you awake yet???
I'm glad we're not going there now but if another implosion occurs all bets are off. There's a lot of talk about the swedish model. They nationalized their banks and fixed their problem. I'm sure they created new ones but they did stabilize their banking system.
I have been a life long advocate of the free market system - with rules. Those rules will be overhauled and brought into the 21st century, and hopefully that will fix our problems.
