My principles are consistent. Unlike a lot of people here, I have the same views about the same things no matter what party is doing it.

I don't like big government now, and I didn't like it under Bush. I opposed his new entitlement, his further Federalization of education, his failures on immigration control, and his complete inability to rein in the Republican Congress. You don't remember all my jokes about his veto pen rolling under the desk?

I supported the war on terror when Bush was president, and if Obama keeps troops in Iraq until the job is done, increases our efforts in Afghanistan, takes a hard line with our enemies, and keeps blasting the Taliban with drones, I'll be just as supportive.
