I see you can program in BASIC on a Linux machine but I was flippantly wondering if the source code was in BASIC- so I could read it. But I really don't know crap about how an OS is put together so it wouldn't help anyway.

I didn't like Quick Basic but I learned to like VB6 after overcoming an attachment to command line BASIC. INPUT is a little different with Event Driven Programming.
