Sure.

24 million is the number being widely quoted from the CBO. 14 million of that is mostly people forced into the system who don't want to be there. That leaves 10 million. That last 10 million is more complicated--you have to read the whole thing with a calculator, but it's still 10 million, and for the sake of simplicity, we'll assume all of those are out of the system involuntarily.

So in 2026 we're talking a total of 38 million involuntarily uninsured with this new program compared to 28 million under Obamacare.

This is after spending $935 billion over that time on the Obamacare version (page 6).

And of course that brings up the question of why nobody seems concerned about that 28 million that an untouched Obamacare apparently leaves hanging after that time.

Of course all this assumes the CBO projections are accurate, and that the Republican bill isn't going to be rejiggered several times.

Shorter version: 24 million people "thrown out" is crap. 10 million will do for a working number for now, but that's not much bang for nearly a trillion bucks.
