Bloody peasants!
The scene in Holy Grail where King Arthur (and his trusted servant,
Patsy) comes upon the peasants collecting, uh, stuff in the field and
they ridicule Arthur for claiming to be their leader because "some watery
tart threw a sword at" him I would say proves your point quite well.
Help! Help! I'm being oppressed! Come and see the violence inherent
in the system!
