The dirty little secret is....
that tough, capable women cannot tolerate gentle, passive and sensitive men as well as tough, capable men can tolerate tough, capable women. Again, women are forced to settle for less because the odds are all against them.
Same goes with age, a related issue. A man will not likely pursue a woman much older than he, and a woman will not likely be interested in a man much younger than her. The result, the older men get, the easier it is to find mates, and for women its just the opposite.
And the guys just love getting even for all the rejection they endured when they were young, and all the girls were going after older guys.
