Don't you remember anything about the past eight years? How we were lectured endlessly here for any statement that even remotely equated Bush's policies with America's well being? How opposition to Bush's efforts on every level was painted as the highest form of patriotism, regardless of the goals?

Years of continuous opposition to the war in Iraq, sometimes approaching outright sabotage, were deemed justified and honorable because the opposition believed that the war could not possibly be won.

But now? Opposition to Obama's ideas because some of us believe that they are unworkable and will make things worse is painted as close to treason.

Inconsistency and hypocrisy are their hallmarks. Doesn't mean you have to buy it.
