My only point was that government spending relies, at the bottom, on wealth generated in the private sector. Unless, of course, we're just printing and borrowing huge amounts of money with no basis in real wealth. Like Zimbabwe.
Government "investment" doesn't come from nowhere. Or it shouldn't.
Why this simple and obvious concept warranted that howling first paragraph is beyond me.
