Large families in poor countries result from poverty, not religion. If your theory were correct, China would have solved its population problem when it drove religion out of the country decades ago, and they wouldn't need draconian laws to keep the population down.

It's been obvious for years that population growth slows down as a population becomes more prosperous. This is across the board, regardless of cultures or religions. If India and China have problems, it's because a lot of their populations are still poor.

You think your kids are a waste of natural resources? I don't either.
