Letting Bush and Co. off the hook on torture ( not to mention illegal spying on Americans, corrupting the Justice Dept, etc etc etc) is a travesty of justice. But I understand Obama's situation. Prosecuting Bush for his crimes would be declaring political nuclear war on the GOP. At a time when he is trying to steer America out of so many crises he doesn't have the bandwidth to deal with it. Leaking the information works.
