Perhaps that sould be on Flame?
The Taliban in Pakistan IS a real problem and could develop into another "war". I have no problem seeing the same "truce" with the same eyes that you do. But using it to make a slur on negotiation or diplomacy is just jumping the gun. Pakistan WILL have to deal with the Taliban and their desire for their brand of "just law". Of course, they are using religion as a banner for their brand of violence.
