First, the scholarship has been granted. It is a done deal, greatly assisted by a strong letter of support from the girl involved, stating her belief that they were both victims of the older boy. I don't buy it but what the hey.

Your opinion on this would be ten times more valid than mine since you have no dog in the fight beyond rightful moral outrage. That is the reason I asked here, the opinions on the sports boards are unreliable and totally divided along team lines, (much like politics).
