Hm. Who's paying for her therapy?

I have never cared about football, so whether or not he gets a scholarship to rip the hell out of his joints and get concussions doesn't concern me.

It's finally becoming well-known that teenage brains are not the fully-formed adult brains people had thought they were, so I'd be inclined to give him another chance at his life. If he is ever even peripherally involved in another sex crime, he ought to be thrown out of the program and the school before he even gets his breath. He should know that up front.

Re: the same teenage brain information: I wonder how thoroughly the girl has forgiven him, really. Family pressure and the urge to be a good girl may have come to bear, especially if her forgiving testimony mitigated his sentence during the penalty phase of his trial.

I say, if he gets paid to go to college to play football, somebody ought to pay for her therapy for as long as she needs it. Not the college, but somebody. He would be my first choice, but as a college kid, he can't afford it.
