There's no other way to protect from religious persecution.

The Founding Father's knew that.

Ultimately abortion is a fund-raising issue for fundamental Christians. Now that godless communism is gone the Christian extremists have had to turn to abortion and homosexuality to energize their congregations. It's not as if there are laws requiring fundamental Christians to get abortions. No one is trying to meddle with their rights.

There is only one way to protect people from other people's religions, and that's the Constitution. Check out Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and other places where religious law predominates.

Christians are like everyone else. They want as much power to enforce their agenda on others as they can possibly get. There is no "live and let live" unless it is guaranteed by the Constitution.

Sad. If Christ were alive it wouldn't have to be that way.
