They did it in the Communist nations and Nazi Germany
And as the population increases, there will be an even stronger need
for tighter control of the masses.
Plus there will always be those who want to do it for the power kick
and their need to keep everything in neat orderly boxes anyway.
Big Brother IS watching you - he's just a lot more subtle than his
version in the Orwell novel.
