Nope. Just ran across these.

I just thought it was absolutely fascinating that someone would manufacture 44 magnum semi-autos, let alone 50 caliber. Lee's comment to the contrary, I know, but I'd be less afraid of a person with a 44 or 50 magnum than I would a 45 ACP or 40 S & W or 9mm. I truly think the larger caliber's and loads are good for one shot and then then a person couldn't hit a semi-truck and trailer after that. Not without a lot of compensation. Even with a laser pointer.

I have a S & W Model 39-2 I've had for 25 years or so and shot on only one occasion. Would like to have a Walther P-38.

9mm is about all I can handle well because of an old injury to my wrist. I used to be very good with one of these, back when war surplus ammo was 1 penny a round and before I found motorcycles. You could buy it by the ton if you wanted. There was a pond on a place in the country where I'd spend summers and I'd practice on sticks. Just pointing, at 60 feet with the second shot I could blow the stick out of the water. That doesn't mean I'd hit it, just come close enough to throw it into the air.

As you say, it takes thousands of rounds to learn that. I'd be a bit surprised if I could hit the pond now.
