It's not that bad.
I've fired both the .44 Mag as well as .50 cal Desert Eagles, and the recoil on both wasn't that bad. The fact that they're both very heavy guns help a great deal. The recoil system is also very capable. It's comparable to firing a Springfield .45
Desert Eagles are extremely high quality products, but coming from Israel, that should be no surprise.
