Let's take publically subsidized housing. Who builds those structures, who profits?
Road projects, environmental and safety regulations? The people who build them, who sell the equipment, who own the construction companies.
A friend of mine, a stalwart conservative, funds many conservative causes, told me once that he always votes Republican but business is usually better under the Democrats.
