I think the kids adapt quicker.
Studies show they are less empathetic though, and often aren't as "connected" to reality as we were growing up. But the world's a-changin', and I think they are adapting better than we are. I grew up in the turbulent 60's when EVERYTHING changed in less than a decade, and I'm sure this Brave New World isn't much different for them.
