Does anyone suppose Star Trek was anything but a commune? That private property was limited to personal effects? And everyone had exactly the same health insurance?

Why is it that it operated more like a Native American tribe than modern American society? What were the advantages? The disadvantages?

Does anyone doubt that Christ and the Apostles were anything but a commune? Or that the early Christian churches were communistic? And that Christ didn't like the bankers?
