And the real unemployment rate if you count all those poor saps who have given up on finding work is already 16.5%. Of course 25% of Americans work for the governmnet in some capacity. So lets face it, they are essentially unemployed also.
That leaves maybe 60% of the rest of america to actually do work and achieve something. Good thing all those soon to be unemployed Baby boomers are old enough to retire.
