Really.

The Politico, July 8
...Democrats demanded that Panetta correct a statement he issued on May 15 – just after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused the CIA of misleading her during the Bush years about the agency’s use of waterboarding techniques – stating that it is not the CIA’s "policy or practice to mislead Congress."
...If that claim is borne out, it would offer a measure of vindication to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who has been under constant fire since claiming in April that the agency misled Congress about waterboarding.
Jamal Ware, spokesman for Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee, dismissed what he called the "blatantly political nature of the Democrats' letters" as "a direct result of congressional Democrats' continued heavy handed attempts to cover up for Speaker Pelosi and what she knew and didn’t do regarding enhanced interrogation."
George Stephanopoulus on "Good Morning America" yesterday:
Kate Snow: Nancy Pelosi has come under a lot of fire for making those comments that she was misled by the CIA about waterboarding. Do these latest charges this morning vindicate her at all?
Stephanopoulus: I spoke with Speaker Pelosi's office about that, and they don’t want to use the word "vindication," but, clearly, it does bolster their case that on several occasions, they were either misled or not given relevant information that the Congress was supposed to have.
George Stephanopoulus on "This Week," yesterday:
WILL: and here's why. When someone went to Panetta in the CIA and told him about this and Panetta went to the Congressional Committee, what then happened? It leaked.
WOODWARD: Actually, they wrote letters publicly and the letters circulated.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Part of the reason they wrote those letters was in defense of the speaker, Nancy Pelosi who had said --
DONALDSON: Do you know what the program we're talking about? I don't.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Not what the problem is, but they had said they had been misled and the speaker has said the CIA has lied to us on many occasions. I think she said they lie all the time. So this is a measure of vindication, I suppose, for the speaker, even though she doesn't want to claim it.
On NPR we have Pelosi sitting quietly with her hands folded, smiling while the buttmonkeys do her dirty work.
